The machine is also available in black, red, or taupe. It is a great fit into any kitchen design. It's not without its shortcomings, however: most reviewers thought it was a bit expensive for a bean to cup maker (and it doesn't include an milk pitcher).
There were many positive reviews of this machine's user-friendliness and the quality of its coffee. The digital display provides feedback and step-by-step directions throughout the entire brewing procedure which will allow you to make your drink perfect each time. The machine even allows you to alter the size of the grind, if that's not what you want. If you prefer drinks with milk this model has an adjustable steam wand that can be adjusted up and down to accommodate all drinking vessels, but not the drinking horn of Vikings. We were also impressed by the speed and efficiency in which the frothing was done. It creates an excellent, full-flavoured, delicious espresso with a fantastic crema.
The BCC02 is an excellent all-rounder that's quiet, effective and offers superb value for money, especially at its current price of PS499. Its only real drawback is that it doesn't provide the same level of customization like some of the other bean-to-cups we've evaluated. It has a pump that is 15 bars rather than the standard 19 bars. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart
The Barista TS Smart is a fantastic bean-to-cup machine with a lot of features that set it apart from the rest. Its most unique feature is probably the fact that it can be controlled by your smartphone using the Melitta Connect app. This allows you to change the settings and dispense various coffee recipes that are stored inside the machine.
This makes the machine super flexible and adaptable to your tastes. There are many ways to alter the strength of your drinks, cup sizes, and even if you would like milk added. The machine comes with two airtight containers of beans that are automatically selected to accommodate different tastes. It is set to standard espresso beans in one, and cafe creme (a German variation of long black or flat white) in the other however, you can select whatever beans you like. There is also a chute that can be used for beans that are already ground if you prefer to use your own.
Users have also been impressed by the speed of the machine. They have said that it can make their drinks much faster than other machines they've used. The machine will also inform you if any of its hoppers is almost empty. This ensures that you don't run out of your favorite drink.
The price tag may be a concern for certain. The machine isn't cheap, at nearly PS999. However, it is far cheaper than similar Jura machines that have the same number of features.
