1. Smeg BCC02

Designed by Milan-based firm Deep Design, this sleek compact and striking machine pairs the brand's inimitable retro style with modern technology. This machine handles all stages of making coffee, from grinding beans to making a puck, then texturing milk before dispensed the right amount.

The machine is also available in black, red, or taupe. It is a great fit into any kitchen design. It's not without its shortcomings, however: most reviewers thought it was a bit expensive for a bean to cup maker (and it doesn't include an milk pitcher).

There were many positive reviews of this machine's user-friendliness and the quality of its coffee. The digital display provides feedback and step-by-step directions throughout the entire brewing procedure which will allow you to make your drink perfect each time. The machine even allows you to alter the size of the grind, if that's not what you want. It's like having your very own personal barista at home (minus Elon Musk's rocket building skills and Harry Potter's invisible cape).

If you prefer drinks with milk this model has an adjustable steam wand that can be adjusted up and down to accommodate all drinking vessels, but not the drinking horn of Vikings. We were also impressed by the speed and efficiency in which the frothing was done. It creates an excellent, full-flavoured, delicious espresso with a fantastic crema.

The BCC02 is an excellent all-rounder that's quiet, effective and offers superb value for money, especially at its current price of PS499. Its only real drawback is that it doesn't provide the same level of customization like some of the other bean-to-cups we've evaluated. It has a pump that is 15 bars rather than the standard 19 bars. This isn't as good for producing high-quality espressos. This is a great machine for those who prefer their coffee dark and strong. Click here to view Lavazza's great deal.

Users have also been impressed by the speed of the machine. They have said that it can make their drinks much faster than other machines they've used. The machine will also inform you if any of its hoppers is almost empty. This ensures that you don't run out of your favorite drink.

The price tag may be a concern for certain. The machine isn't cheap, at nearly PS999. However, it is far cheaper than similar Jura machines that have the same number of features.

Barista TS smart is protected by a generous two-year warranty. This is more than the typical one-year warranty. It is a sign of confidence on behalf of the manufacturer.
